Training Methods
Being an ABC graduate, I tend to stay the more positive reinforcement/force-free route when it comes to training. It is my opinion that most obedience and even some behaviors can be taught or corrected with this method. I also find that most people are more open and more easily able to understand what they are trying to accomplish this way.
For anyone interested in learning alternate methods, or have more complex issues to work through, I would suggest starting with the basics of Natural Dog Training (NDT) and learning the 5 core exercises. Through the 5 core exercises our goal is to bring your dog back to the puppy when they were soft and confident and more adaptable to the world around them.
